Quality and certification

Certified organic extra virgin olive oil.

Italian production is subject to organic controls. The current certificate explicitly includesextra virgin olive oil among the organic products and covers production, distribution and placing on the market.

The oils promoted in Switzerland by BIO OLIVENÖL ZIMARINO SAGL come from Tenuta Zimarino Masseria Don Vincenzo, an Italian agricultural business near Punta Aderci in Abruzzo. The organic certificate is issued to the Italian operator Nicola Tieri and relates to the farm's agricultural production, under the supervision of CCPB Srl (IT-BIO-009) under European rules. BIO OLIVENÖL ZIMARINO SAGL promotes these oils in Switzerland; the Italian producer's certificate is not issued to the Swiss company.
